Summertime Rentals LLC is proud to be entering the 2013 summer season as our eleventh season in business! We began in 2003 to provide our customers with a true “up north” lake experience and unmatched customer service. We understand that those vacationing here value their time and so we want to take the worry and hassle out of renting. Our equipment is truly the best in the area. We offer only new or like new jet- skis, ski boats, pontoons, tritoons, water trampolines, kayaks, paddleboards and other water toys. Our customers are consistently impressed and is the reason we have grown year after year. Whether you’re looking to get out on the lake for the day, or you want the full waterfront setup for your entire stay we can make it an unforgettable experience!

Check out our new watersports store under the tent! We carry Connelly tubes, skis, wakeboards, and paddleboards all at great prices. There is also a great selection of Lake Charlevoix apparel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other goodies to make sure you're covered for a day out on the water.

About the Owner

As someone who grew up in Northern Michigan I was fortunate to be surrounded by the water and always involved in powersports and boating. For a few summers in high school and college I worked at a small marina where I always thought about opening a watersports rental business. It was not until the end of my sophomore year at Western Michigan University that I decided to go for it.

Summertime Rentals began in 2003 with the purchase of one jet-ski and has grown to be the largest, most diverse, and highest quality watersports rental fleet on Lake Charlevoix and the surrounding area. Being raised by parents who are also small business owners made it a natural fit. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in aviation science and a general business minor in 2005. I spent a few years in airport management and operations but have always returned to enjoy Charlevoix’s beautiful summers.

Currently, I am a pre-medical student at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. For those who know me, I am the type that cannot sit still and always has to be doing something productive and challenging which is why I love what I do. The best part of my summer day is getting to know my customers and the reward of hearing how much fun they had out on the water.

Some of my favorite pastimes when I’m not running a business or studying include: wakeboarding, kayaking the Jordan River, cruising Lake Charlevoix with friends and family, traveling, snow skiing, and mountain biking Avalanche Park in Boyne City.
